PlayOnline's "Linkshell Community" is a brand-new social space, designed for FINAL FANTASY XI players to communicate with each other outside of the game.
With even basic access to the Internet, you can use the Linkshell Community to participate in FINAL FANTASY XI social circles— even when you can't log in to the game!

Convenient Features Give Support To Communities

The Linkshell Community offers convenient features aimed at supporting the activities of linkshell-based communities.
In the space provided for each community, you'll find a Member List, where users can view detailed profile information for a community's registered members, and a message board, where users can view and post comments.
Additionally, players can use the World Portal to search for communities from each World!

Member Profiles

By simply clicking on a member's name that appears in a linkshell community, you can view that member's profile.
A member profile is automatically synchronized with its corresponding FINAL FANTASY XI character data. In other words, this allows you to view a character's job level, craft skills, title, mission progress, and other detailed information just as you would inside the game!
If you need a helping hand, the Member Profile feature lets you search for a character with the same mission progress as yourself. If you're looking to make a specific item, you could try searching for a character with high-level synthesis skills. By making new friends, you can take your game further than ever before!
